My 12PB has done a little of this since day one. Along with every laptop I've owned. I believe this has to do with the phosphorus in the backlight needing to reach a critical excitement mass - samer thing with CRT's needing it. Streetlights have the same effect, though they're argon or mercury vapor.

Depends on your budget but I'd definitely look into a Drobo FS. It fully supports time machine backups, although it's performance isn't exactly spectacular (I guess if your using it just for backups and some basic streaming then this shouldn't be much of an issue...).

if you already have wired connections to the 2 remotes it should work with the linksys.
make sure you have the same SSID and security settings on all 3 routers, you have to pay attention, since the security terminology might be slightly different and you need to make sure it's the same setting even if it's a different name.
also make sure you have the expresses in bridge mode.
your device will automatically pick the strongest signal.
also you won't be able to "connect to the linksys" as you will pick your network name, and won't know which of the 3 bases you're connected to*.
*you can figure out which one you're connected to by option-clicking on the airport item in your menu bar and looking at the BSSID and comparing that mac address to your airports and linksys.

Airshot looks to be something sending video over 802.11b. Evidently, Macs are not supported.
To that end, just get a good projector with a DVI port, and a Mac-friendly presentation clicker so you don't have to stand by your Powerbook.

It is not iTunes exclusive. Copy and paste doesn't work in OpenOffice, Safari, Chrome, Pages, etc.
And the Drag and Drop is not within the iTunes folder. I cannot move files to iDisk, nor can I drag file to the Trash.

i've been trying for an hour to get my tivo to allow hme applications.
i put in the backdoor key sequence and return to tivo home with no change to music and photos. i have series 2 , tivo 7.1-x, my mac is updated on all the java stuff. my tivo sees my photos and music. maybe i should sacrifice a goat or something to appease the tivo gods!

Nope, I bought it on the forums for $225. Apple sent me a new one as the one I bought was having issues. I popped in the serial and bam, got the credit.

I'm intrested in buying a AE and I don't know if I need to wait or buy it right now. The last update was in 2009 and apple updates there products like every 6 months. Now a year is past and still no new AE. But there are new things like USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt (things to put in the AE).
Is it wise to wait a while for the new one or not?

I'm thinking part of it is a validation issue. You have problems both on the main page that declares the frames, and in the page where the frame leads to.

Also, what I provided was slightly different than what you have. You don't have the ending /, which might make a difference. I've honestly never used the base tag so can't speak to it much.

You could hit up Joby (http://joby.com/gorillamobile/touch/) and ask them when their case for the new Touch will be out. I have one for my 3g Touch and it's a great case.

I was having the same issue. So here is what I did to solve it.
Open your top music folder. Probably Music that's in the side pain of finder. Click on the folder "music" and do the get info thing for the folder.
The bottom part should say ownership and permissions, make sure it says read and write. Click the next arrow next to details. Make sure all of them say read and write and that your admin name is next to them. I'm not sure if the lock should be locked or unlocked, I think onceoyu make changes, lock it back up and it should stay.
That's what I did. If you're still having problems, let me know. I don't really know much about macs yet since I'm pretty new.
