I have a Quicksilver G4/867 with 640MB RAM. I run os 10.4. Is maxing out the RAM at 1.5MB worth it on this machine? How about upgrading to 10.5? This machine is mostly for the kids doing homework and internet, although I would like to start syncing ipad and iphone on it (the reason for 10.5). Thanks.

Also, check your credit card's benefits portion- i.e. If I use my Amex card (other card companies as well) for purchases, they lengthen all manufacturer warranties an additional 1 year. If you buy square trade and use a card like Amex to buy the phone, you'd have two years of manufacturer coverage and 3 years of Square Trade. Pretty Sweet. :D

I had orginally planned on asking just for curiousity, but now its necessity (since toast doesnt like panther).
In Toast you have the ability to mount a Disk Image as a CD before you burn it. I want to know how to do this manually, since It allows my to run MOHAA Spearhead off my disk image (of a legal copy thankyouverymuch). Mounting it with disk copy as a Volume doesn't do the trick.
I've read the iso9660mount, hdid, and automount man pages and I'm either not looking in the right place or not putting 2 and 2 together to get 4.

i noticed this when going to 4.3.1 pwnage.. but on 4.3.2 pwnage has been much better. try re jbing.
I had the same issue on 4.3.1 as well. There's no way I'm going to re-jb this thing right now. This jailbreak was a real pain in the a$$ for some reason (kept getting a 1600 error while trying to restore to my pwnage-created custom ipsw). I'll wait until 4.3.3 comes out and hope that that Apple hasn't patched the hole for the untethered jb. The last 2 jbs have definitely felt a little "off" to me.

I will be selling my 16GB iPhone in two weeks when the new iPhone comes out. My current iPhone is in perfect shape; an invisible shield was put on as soon as I bought it. The iPhone will come with all the original documentation and packaging, including the original box and receipt.
EDIT: Something I forgot to mention is that I just bought this iPhone less than six months ago. I bought the iPhone in March of 2008.

i want to put desktop items into the far left column but can't. every time i move one there, it moves itself back over to a differnet position. why is this as it is realy anoying! i like to postion icons around a centre position but cannot do it at the moment!

I like the color scheme and I don't think it loaded too slowly. Some of the images might be a LITTLE unprofessional and all of them could use being a little higher quality. I think you should use a high enough quality that there aren't appreciable artifacts. That would help the site a great deal.
Other than that, is this site unique in any way? How does it aim to differentiate itself from the countless other 'Pod sites out there?

I had tripple boot MBP 13 inch model, n all three OSs were working great on the machine, but i wasn't using linux that much so decided to remove the partition and have only two - OS X n Windows 7, i removed the linux partition with Disk Utility, and firs time it didn;t go right, so i simply restarted the mac n did it again, and it went through fine.
Next time when i wanted to boot into Windows 7, surprisingly it only came up with black screen n a blinking cursor on left upper corner, i waited long, hoping to load the windows 7, but it didn't. N since then its bugging me.
I need to use some programs on windows, and i prefer to use windows natively via boot camp.
Can any one suggest, what could be the problem and how to sort this issue out?

I was wondering how to make a table view that would have like 5 rows in it, that is no problem to do i know, but i was wondering how i could make so each cell in the table view would need a different password to get into it.
I am asking my girlfriend to prom, so i am making a scavenger hunt thing for her based of my iphone..
any idea how to make the password thing happen?
From the sounds of it, security really isn't an issue. On that note create a NSArray, add 5 NSString (these will hold your passwords) into the array. Make sure they are in the same order of your UITableView rows. You can then compare by the returned row.
