I'm debating either Main Place Naperville or Woodfield Mall. I haven't been to the Naperville store. Looking at the pics on Google Maps, is parking gonna be a problem?

Did you install the 32-bit or 64-bit version?
Edit: shame on me for not reading original post
I have the same problem on my 2011 quad-core MBP. 8 gb of ram installed and Windows 7 only sees 2.
This is on a 32 bit version. Any ideas?

I'm considering waiting in line. I didn't preorder since I wanted a White iPhone and now I'm wondering what the possibility of them having it in store is.
I think it's possible they will have some white ones at the Apple Store. The wording on Apple's order page and their lack of official statement suggests to me that they have some white iPhones they want to sell, but there are so few that they don't want to get anyone's hopes up. I might try calling the store later today and asking.

Does anybody know when and wether at all google maps update 5.0 (and above) will come to iOS? I mean Apple pays to Google for the maps right?
Probably not. That's why you usually see android phones having a nicer Gmaps app than iPhone users.

The click you hear when you plug it in is normal (relay). That said, a bad PSU is a possibility.
You should also check the LED fault indicators on the Logic Board, to see if there's something going on there (in case it's not the PSU).
Ideally, if you've access to another MP (same year or series - hard to go from this, as you've not provided a model number/year of that system), and try swapping PSU's (if no LED's are showing any faults on the current unit).

Which means buy one soon!
I don't have an iPhone, but I have read that the Flip's quality isn't as good. However I bought one and use it to record my lectures. 60-90 minutes long and indoor lighting. It works fine and my writing on the white board comes out clear.
What is nice about it is that it is trivially easy to use (in my case I even screw it on to a small tripod) and extracting the videos and recharging are easy as well. It's a camera I don't have to think about, which is great for my application.
I hate to see them go as I know that any replacement camera will cost me much more. I might actually run out and buy another as a "spare".

I have had a B&W G3/400 for 4 years now and it's been really good to me. I just upgraded it to a G3/800 and it's gonna last a while longer.
It's now slightly faster than my dual G4/800 (one processor at a time) at some things. :)
Hope you enjoy it. It's not likely to have trouble. Remember to fill it up with good RAM for best Mac OS X performance.

I found one by Western Digital 1TB 5400rpm
Samsung also makes a 1TB drive. Both are slower spin, 5200/5400 rpm with 3 platters.
The question to ask yourself is if you prefer speed or size. What I mean by this is that the WD Scorpio Black comes in 750GB and spins at 7200 RPM. This drive, which I recently purchased, is only two platters of similar but higher density. So you can expect the WD SB 750Gb drive to perform roughly 30% faster for applications loading, boot times... Of course if you plan on putting 700-800GB of data on your laptop the 1TB drive is the way to go. If you plan on 500-600Gb then you will likely be much happier with the faster drive. I bought mine on Amazon for $109 shipped and as you may know, Amazon has a great 30 day return policy.

My brother's cat loves packages, perhaps more than boxes. As soon as a package is delivered, she jumps on top and wants it opened. It then becomes her new nap spot. Recently, she guarded a couple packages of computer parts for me. Cats..funny creatures.

Ok. I'll change "post" to "posts" and change the first post. But I kinda like my first one better because I think the logo makes it look too clutered. But since its a vote I'll submit the one that the most people like. Tell which one you like more.

Note that bootcamp plugins are not supported for windows 7 64bit. Only 32bit version. So if you want to use your graphics card, your USB-ports, internet etc I advice to install the 32bit-version.
I have had no problem at all running 64bit Win7 Pro bootcamp, it works incredibly well (and is listed as a supported version of windows in the bootcamp documentation as well)
OP- When i installed Win7 64 on my 2010 mbp, it actually glitched on me the first time and got stuck during the installation, so I just shut it down, started it again in OS X, then deleted the bootcamp partition and started again, and it worked fine. Also- make sure you're not just creating a partition in the disk utility, but using the bootcamp utility to create the partition for windows.
